How Relationships Affect Your Business

Well, I am writing this hub for good reason. I wrote my last hub as a result of many people asking me how I was able to reach online success. I wrote about the different internet marketing techniques that I use however, there was one thing that I missed out. One thing that I give credit for a great deal of my success is my relationship with that beautiful woman in the picture to the right.

It's true, I am one of the lucky few that has found someone that not only I can deal with but, I actually enjoy being around her! I feel that this is an extremely important part of not only my personal and household decisions but, I also keep her in mind when it comes to making business decision. Which... well, it's the reason I'm writing this article.

O.K. I'm not going to lie. As with most people that enjoy relationship success, this is not the first relationship that I have been in. I had the pleasure of getting my teeth pulled and dealing with unhealthy relationships as well. However, the unfortunate reality of it is that I didn't realize what this relationship actually was costing me!

Aside from the health issues caused by increased cigarette smoking (which I have recently quit), less sleep and overwhelming stress, I didn't realize the overwhelming negative affects that my relationship was having on my business. For some reason, I kept loosing everything, I couldn't focus and I just couldn't keep up with the times. I soon found that the reason for this was my relationship!

Once a negative relationship comes to an end, many business owners find that the transition isn't quite as smooth as they thought it might be. Often times, depression stricken, they find themselves spending more time in a dark room looking out the window, searching for a reason why they are alone than they do working on their business.

Adversely, other types of business owners find that when they are in a depressive state, they drown themselves in work. Which, well, may not be the best idea either. My advice to any business owner who just ended a negative relationship is that although it may be hard, try to balance an even work schedule. After your general work hours, take a walk to try and clear your mind and go spend time with friends and family!

One thing that I can promise you from personal experience is that when a negative relationship ends and you become happy with yourself, not only do you notice a night and day difference in your attitude but you will also notice this in your business. Your clear mind will help you to solve problems that you may have never been able to with the negative mindset caused by a negative relationship.

For me, my deciding night and day moment was when I fell for my now fiance, Anamaria! I was in a slump for a long time following a relationship that was similar to the one I described above. Ana came into my life as a friend and I never thought that our relationship would take me here! However, since she has come in my life, I have also noticed a huge change in my business. From a loss to a profit emotionally and financially! These days, I own multiple business with topics that range from allowing consumers to compare sky miles credit card offers to free SEO training and they are all doing well!
